We come across so many cool people, gadgets and information we figured a blog is a great way to let everyone know about them.
Speaking of cool people, we had Mike McHugh from Adobe Australia with us over the last couple of days. Mike was in town last week to launch Adobe CS4 at Crow Bar in Auckland, and came back this week to help launch the Auckland chapter of The InDesign User Group. There are currently 38 InDesign User Groups running in 12 countries with Auckland being the latest addition. Martinho da Gloria heads up the Auckland chapter and put on an amazing night with a fantastic venue and a great speaker. Everyone who attended came away amazed at the new features added to the latest version of Adobe CS4.
We had a great turn out for our first meeting which was attended by 43 people and held at the Giltrap Prestige Audi showroom. The Auckland InDesign User Group will be a fantastic resource for people who make a living out of InDesign.
